A paid sponsorship. You get tangible deliverables — credits, posts, asset packs, calls — in exchange for a recurring fee. We also publish a yearly transparency report showing where the money went.
Anything that wouldn't feel out of place in a quiet, optimistic game about water and life. We say no to gambling, weapons, predatory products, and anything that conflicts with the spirit of the game. We'd rather have ten good sponsors than a hundred mismatched ones.
Anytime. If you cancel, your credit stays through the end of the paid period and then comes down on the next build. We don't do surprise charges or fine-print.
Yes. Plenty of our sponsors do — "in memory of," "for my daughter," or simply listed as "Anonymous." Just put what you want in the "credit display name" field.
Yes — write us at dlightningexperience@gmail.com and we'll set up a custom rate. We also have a "play-for-classrooms" program at no charge.

Sponsor Terms

Last updated: May 2026 · These terms may be updated; active sponsors will be notified by email before any material change takes effect.

1. Parties

These Sponsorship Terms ("Terms") form a binding agreement between DLightning Studios ("we," "us," or "Oasea") and the individual or organization completing the signup form ("Sponsor," "you"). By submitting the form and completing payment you accept these Terms in full.

2. Sponsorship Fee & Billing

Sponsorship is billed monthly in advance at the rate shown for your selected tier. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your card is charged on the same day each month starting from your first payment date. All fees are listed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are the Sponsor's responsibility.

3. Deliverables by Tier

We commit to the deliverables listed on the Sponsors page for your selected tier. Deliverables are provided in good faith; minor timing adjustments (e.g. a social post shifted by a few days) do not constitute a breach. Named islands and custom in-game features are subject to reasonable creative discretion by our team.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by emailing dlightningexperience@gmail.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not issue prorated refunds for partial months. Upon cancellation, your in-game credit and logo will be removed in the next scheduled build push (typically within two weeks of period end).

5. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate promptly.

6. Logo & Brand Usage

By uploading a logo or providing brand assets, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display those assets within Oasea (in-game credits, social posts, press kit) for the duration of your sponsorship. We will not alter your logo beyond resizing and placement. You retain full ownership of your brand assets. We may display your name as a current or former sponsor on our website and in marketing materials after your sponsorship ends unless you request otherwise in writing.

7. Sponsor Conduct

We reserve the right to terminate a sponsorship without refund if a Sponsor's business, public statements, or conduct materially conflicts with the values of Oasea — a calm, positive game played by people who care about the world. We will make this determination in good faith and will communicate the reason.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid in the three months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Oasea is an independent game; we cannot guarantee player counts, media coverage, or commercial outcomes from your sponsorship.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; if unresolved, in the courts of San Diego County, California.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Active sponsors will receive email notice at least 14 days before any material change. Continued sponsorship after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
