A game about water and life

Oasea

Every drop counts.

Oasea was green once. Then the rains stopped. Sculpt terrain, guide the rain home, and watch life return to the islands — one drop at a time.

An eco-puzzler where you guide water and watch the magnificent return of life.

Oasea is a meditative island restoration game built around a journey from island to island. You'll shape the terrain, respond to unpredictable rain, and work with nature's systems to restore desolate landscapes.

Enter a world in dynamic transformation — barren rock becomes forest, desert becomes wetland, silence becomes song. No combat. No timers. Just you, the wind, and a world that yearns for what it used to be.

Sculpting terrain in the rain
"During the storm, race to save droplets."

Simple actions, endless outcomes.

Every drop counts and every decision ripples outward.

01 of three

Sculpt the land.

Raise peaks, dig valleys, cut channels. The terrain you shape decides where water will go.

02 of three

Guide the rain.

Intense storms and rogue clouds cross your island. Where they pass, water falls; where water collects, something grows.

03 of three

Watch life return.

Moss, then grass, then trees. Insects, then birds, then stabilized weather. The island takes it from here.

Ninety seconds of island life.

The best way to understand Oasea.

I sculpted the land and guided the water to the collection zone. Then the island just... came alive. I felt like I'd done something good.

The water shows you where it wants to go. I was taking care of a tiny world and I wanted to make it bigger.

Tiny islands, deep world.

Procedural islands

No two seeds the same. Every island starts broken and beautiful.

Living water

Real fluid simulation. Rivers carve. Lakes fill. Puddles evaporate.

Dynamic weather

Clouds, storms, evaporation. Mornings are misty. Dusks are warm.

Cozy pace

Save anywhere. Play for 3 minutes or 3 hours. The island waits.

Works anywhere

Desktop, tablet, phone. Just open a browser tab. That's it.

Share your island

Every island has a URL. Send it to a friend and they'll see the same place.

Things people ask.

Yes. Oasea is free to play in any modern browser. No ads, no tracking, no account required. If you love it, there's additional content for purchase. That's the whole business model.
Your progress saves locally in your browser automatically. If you create an account (optional, free), it syncs across devices and gets a recovery URL.
If your phone is from the last five years or so, yes. We test on iOS 15+ and Android 10+. It plays beautifully on tablets and desktop.
There's approximately 30-45 mins of story mode, then another hour of bonus levels. Most players hit their first restored island in 2–3 minutes. After that, there are daily challenges, and optional level-packs.
A very small team at Dlightning Studios. We spent three years crafting an experience that met our standards for quality and accessibility. Additional credits are in the game menu.
Kinda. The browser version works great on all of your internet connected devices. A progressive web app (PWA) install is available, which makes it feel just like a native app.

Ready when you are.

Visit an island. Wait for the rain. See life return.
